Can you tell me about your project related to education? What was its main goal?
My digital classroom project's main goal was to create a large and sustainable impact on girl's education. The Smart Classroom enables the students to learn effectively through multi-media visual learning. The KYAN digital smart Class is equipped with the full CBSE curriculum, audio visual content, online library, teaching tools and more to assist teachers who are being given training every week to become familiar with the new means of teaching and learning. A big factor about this project is that it has created a sustainable impact and will therefore help many students now and in future years! I hope to carry on more projects like this and create a larger and better impact!
What motivated you to focus on this particular education issue for your project?
The world is evolving and becoming increasingly dependent on technology. Not everyone is fortunate enough to receive the opportunities that many of us take for granted. I was grateful to be given the chance to share what I'd been given with others who weren't so fortunate. Gender equality is a major factor in this disparity, particularly in education. Girls' education is often overlooked, a problem that my mother also faced. I wanted to prove its vital importance and create an impact to ensure that this inequity wouldn't continue.
Can you share some of the activities or actions you took as part of your project?
Some steps I took to complete my action are...
1. Reached out to mentors who could help guide me on ways to create an impact (NGO Yuva Unstoppable
2. Interviewed an employee of the NGO to gain a better understanding
3. Visited the school to see what was required
4.Brainstormed on ways to raise the money (2 lakhs)
5. Started crowdfunding through Ketto
6. Made various calls to reach my target
7. Commenced the process of building the classroom
8. Classroom finished and inaugration takes place.
9. Classroom in action

How did you and your team work together to make your project successful?
My team, comprising of my supportive parents and the NGO Yuva Unstoppable, provided me with the crucial support and assistance needed to ensure the project's success. Throughout the journey of creating the class, new factors constantly emerged, and their help was invaluable in navigating these challenges.
Did you face any challenges while working on your project? How did you overcome them?
The primary challenge I faced was raising the necessary funds, which amounted to 2 lakhs. Towards the end of the project, I was interviewed by various individuals who were interested in donating to help me reach my target. This support was crucial in overcoming the financial hurdle and ensuring the project's success!
What do you think was the most important thing you learned from working on this project?
Working on this project has taught me one of the most valuable lessons: the importance of always extending a helping hand to those in need and being grateful for the opportunity to assist others. The journey of creating the class was filled with various challenges, the most significant being raising the necessary funds of 2 lakhs. Throughout this process, the unwavering support from my parents and the NGO Yuva Unstoppable was very valuable. They provided me with the guidance and resources required to navigate the obstacles that arose. As the project progressed, the financial challenge seemed daunting. However, towards the end, I had the chance to be interviewed by several individuals who were considering donating to help me meet my target. Their interest and eventual contributions helped me in overcoming the financial barrier. This experience not only highlighted the significance of community support but also reinforced the idea that kindness and generosity can make a substantial difference. Ultimately, this project has instilled in me a profound sense of gratitude and a commitment to helping others whenever possible. It has shown me that being in a position to offer support is a privilege, and it is our responsibility to use that privilege to positively impact the lives of those around us!
Can you describe any positive changes or improvements you observed as a result of your project?
There were several positive outcomes that emerged from my project, including:
1. Sustainable Impact: The project has been designed to have a lasting impact, empowering students for generations to come and enabling them to achieve higher goals in their education and beyond.
2. Increased Literacy Rates: By ensuring sustainable impact, the project is expected to contribute significantly to increasing literacy rates among females over the coming years. This improvement in literacy will empower girls and women by providing them with essential skills and opportunities for personal and professional growth. These outcomes highlight the project's effectiveness in not only immediate educational enhancements but also in fostering long-term benefits that positively impact communities and societies as a whole.
Did you receive any feedback from your classmates, teachers, or community members about your project? If so, what was it?
Your dedication to improving the quality of education for girls in rural areas is truly commendable. A young girl like you, in 5th standard, thinking of enhancing education standards in government schools, is a model inspiration for society. Your efforts in providing access to digital resources and innovative learning tools are transforming lives and paving the way for a brighter future. I extend heartfelt appreciation for your remarkable Digital Classroom Project and your invaluable contribution to education and community upliftment, says Shri Amitabh Shah, Founder and Chief inspiration Officer, Yuva Unstoppable
How do you feel your project has contributed to promoting education and learning among your peers or in your community?
I believe my project has made a meaningful contribution to promoting education and learning within my community and among my peers. Its significant impact has been widely recognized, which I hope will inspire others to take similar actions to contribute towards creating positive change in the world. The recognition and impact of my initiative have underscored its effectiveness in advancing educational opportunities and fostering a culture of learning. By inspiring individuals to engage in initiatives like mine, we can collectively work towards making the world a better place, one where education is accessible and empowering for all!
What are your plans or ideas for continuing to work on education-related issues in the future?
My goal is to significantly expand the Smart Classroom initiative, aiming to make a profound impact on girls' education globally, beyond India. This expansion will start with thorough needs assessments and studies in diverse regions. By setting clear, sustainable, and scalable goals, I will strategically collaborate with governments, NGOs, and international organizations to align with educational policies and secure crucial support. Engaging technology companies and forming corporate partnerships will help me equip classrooms with advanced digital tools and reliable infrastructure, including connectivity solutions suitable for remote areas.
