Can you provide an overview of your project and how it aligns with SDG 17?

'SDGs through Arts' is a global, socially driven arts initiative dedicated to addressing the SDGs by engaging with local artists. Its primary aim is to educate, engage and raise awareness on local and global issues. At ZeeArts, we are staunch advocates of the SDGs. We strongly believe that Art is a paramount catalyst for social change and is a medium to empower society and bring about a positive impact, in line with Agenda 2030. The core value of this project is to empower, educate and raise global awareness on the Sustainable Development Goals through Arts.

How did your project foster partnerships and collaborations to achieve its objectives?

Fostering partnerships and collaborations to achieve objectives in the context of the SDGs through arts through various collaboration: Engaging Local Artists and Art Institutions, Collaborating with the Private Sector through ESG, Creating a Framework for Collaboration with the Government institution. By integrating these approaches, the project effectively leverage partnerships and collaborations to achieve its objectives and make a meaningful impact through the arts.

Can you share examples of the key partnerships involved in your project and how they contributed to its success?

We empower, engage, and educate artists to express their voices through the arts by collaborating with art institutions, government agencies, and the private sector. These collaborations, as part of CSR or ESG initiatives, support and amplify our mission.

What challenges did you face in building partnerships for your project, and how did you overcome them?

Building partnerships for our project came with several challenges, especially in securing sponsors from the private sector.

Securing Sponsorship:

Issue: Convincing private sector companies to invest in an innovative art project focused on SDGs was difficult, as they often prioritize initiatives with immediate and measurable returns.

Alignment of Goals:

Issue: Ensuring that the goals of our project aligned with the CSR/ESG objectives of potential partners sometimes posed a challenge, as companies have diverse priorities and strategies.

Did your project leverage any technology or innovative approaches to facilitate partnerships for sustainable development?

No.

How did you measure the success of your project in terms of partnership building and collaboration?

Measuring the success of our project in terms of partnership building and collaboration involved several key metrics and qualitative assessments.


Engagement Levels:

Measurement: Monitoring participation rates in workshops, exhibitions, and other events organized in collaboration with partners.

Success Indicator: High and increasing engagement levels showed strong partner involvement and community interest.


Community Impact:

Measurement: Assessing the impact of the project on the local community through surveys, focus groups, and social media engagement.

Success Indicator: Positive community feedback, increased awareness of SDGs, and visible social change indicated the project’s success and the effectiveness of partnerships.


Media Coverage and Publicity:

Measurement: Tracking media coverage, including news articles, TV segments, and social media mentions related to the project.

Success Indicator: Extensive and positive media coverage demonstrated successful communication and the high visibility of our partnerships.

Yes- we work directly with various stakeholders including Government and private sectors by engaging with them in various level.
